Fruits and veggie darling.
These little spots do still exist, these little pearls. Kept by dedicated treasure keepers. All you have to do is sacking your iPhone, unplugging your earphones and stroll your neighborhood. So what am I writing about? Well, in particular this post is on the kind silver haired man selling vegetables and fruits around the corner of my university, respectively Holborn tube station. While Lidl and Aldi, collaboratively battle the top dogs of Tesco, Sainsbury’s or Cooperative, there remind little niches for saleswoman and man, who know their customers. Or is it anything else if my local seller applauds my choice of juicy oranges and furry cumquats with a „well done darling“. I guess not. Most interestingly, these little tiny shops that you find all over London, are able to compete with the giant machinery of German discount markets. So why not giving it a try? Trust me, it’s the better choice, darling.
